My EB install doesnt work beyond the menu screen
Made a fresh install of Rome: Total War, patched it to 1.6 (installed BI too), installed EB patch 1.1, then 1.2, i start it, it seems to work, i read the description of a faction, i press the button to start the campaign, an ActiveMovie Window comes up, then nothing for a second or so, then an error message comes up saying Rome: Total War has stopped working, and that's all. I installed it to /C:/Program Files/ Activision/ Rome:Total War, an EB folder was created in that upon installing 1.1, the 1.2 files went into that when i selected the same for that. Im using Vista 32, think that probably has something to do with it
... noticed your not supposed to install it in to program files in posts, so i reinstalled it outside of program files, also without Barbarian Invasion just to be sure, made it the 1.5 patch rather than the 1.6 (cos of no BI), still got the same problem.
I made the folder "Rome Total War EB1.2" in /C and installed it there - if im supposed to install this in some specific place other than this say so.

Re: My EB install doesnt work beyond the menu screen
All i had to do was change the configuration to not show errors... and somehow the error which caused the game to fail is not only not being shown, but has disappeared completely... as i thought the game was installed correctly, everything works fine now... btw, to whomever did the water, i wanna find you, and i wanna hug you, because it owns ^^
