    Default Mixing and Matching

I own EUIII in disk form and have for some time. Have been wanting to purchase the IN and NA expansion packs, but couldn't find them at my local Best Buy where they had the main game some time back. I'm wondering if anyone has mixed and matched packaged versions of the game with for instance, GamersGate versions of the game, and if that is an effective method which doesn't cause problems or not.

    Cheers.

As far as I know, Napoleon's Ambition and In Nomine are download only (other than as part of the Collections pack). Be aware that In Nomine is incompatible with vanilla EUIII and has to be installed over Napoleon's Ambition. Yes, I did mention this in another thread if you were wondering! lol

I have bought EU3 from a store, and NA and IN from gamersgate without problems what so ever, however, I would try and look cheap EU Complete as it might get in fact cheaper than buying them online.

That's not a problem at all. Your hard copy would be fully compatible with the expansions one could get from GamersGate. Though as has been posted already. You might be better off just getting EU3 Complete which would include the original EU3 plus both expansions. I saw a copy the other day at Best Buy for $9.99 I think it was. Not a bad deal for what is arguably the best strategy game on the market right now.
