Well, basically all those factions shown were all once apart of the same factions, Macedon with Alexander the Great. So of course they look somewhat similar.

Not to get into a massive political/cultural debate, but I fail to see the connection between Hellenic civilization and modern Turkey. I'd rather all such relics be kept safely at the center of our joint heritage... Times Square.

That's purely a naming error on the render. The general should be called the "Carthaginian General" without the Hellenistic bit added on. However he does share the model with the Hellenistic generals and there's plenty of evidence of Carthaginians using the sort of Pseudocorinthian helmet and Greek style armour we've shown here. As far as Carthage being a Hellenistic empire, no, we're not saying anything of the sort. You're right.
