    Default Triangle !

    OK, when I try to run KGCM (on Kingdoms 1.5, under Vista Ultimate x64 sp1) I get:

    Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

    Vanila M2TW and the Tutonic, Crusades, Britanic and Americas flavors of Kingdoms don't do this, only the KGCM.

    Ouch.

    Have you tried re-installing the mod?

    @Sarge,

    I'm no expert but that looks like a Vista problem to me. I know it sucks but I would uninstall the whole game and reinstall it all once more. While your at it redownload version 3.0 from filefront with virus protection software disabled! You will then know that you do not have a corrupted download file.

    Best of luck!

    AH-HA! I figured out what the problem was.

    When I initially went to apply the 3.7 patch, I forgot to change the install path to {x:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War}. It's that little (x86) there that was the problem. See, under all 64-bit versions of Windows, programs that would be installed to a {x:\Program Files} folder need to instead be installed to a {x:\Program Files (x86)} folder, and the Patch installer does not take this into account.

    Please update your patch installer to remedy this.

    Thanks for the help.

    Thanks for the info Sarge! but you must manually tell patch 3.7 where to install yourself. Most people do not have Vista Ultimate x64, so I wont make x:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War the default install path, sorry. But thanks for letting me know that you have solved the problem.
