    Default VnV enums unused?

    hello,
    I've added some new trait descriptions to export_VnVs.txt but forgot to add them to the VnV_enums file. But that seems not to have any bad effect on the game, even for visible traits. They all show up and work as intended.
    So I assume the VnV_enums are unused?
    Or has it some other effect that does not appear in the game? :hmmm:

    Nope, the file is not parsed by the game, so you can leave it as it is.

    ah okay. Thanks.
    But what is it good for then?
    A lot of guides on VnV editing say, that you have to add the enums... so was it dropped recently and I just have read old tutorials?

    I believe the older versions of RTW required the enums to be updated as well, but after 1.3/1.4, that requirement was dropped.

    If you aren't reading my guide on traits/ancillaries you are reading an old guide and mine does not mention the enum files at all. Personally I keep the enum files updated for completeness, not because it is required.
