Default How do I defend my kingdom, How much soldiers should I garrison In my settlements, How many armies should I have on the field, etc.

I always find It hard to play becuase the AI always creates spam armies with small arounts of soldiers and when they declare war on my they send in more spam armies and overwhelm me because of all there armies join together to make one huge force. How do you defend your kingdom?

I don't really understand you question, I think. I find it easy to defend, because you can take out the small stacks before the become one big stack

Play the game like you would in today's war. Make your armies to have high damage range units and fight low casualty battles. That way, you can fight battle after battle without retraining.

Also, I don't seriously invade other people in war until I form 3-6 mobile fighting stacks along with 3-6 city garrison armies.

Also you have to make spies to scout ahead and monitor troops movements. Make lots of priests to convert populations ahead.

Go in great force. When I fight, I always blitz.

But theres so many of them. When I destroy one, another bigger one usually comes, and my army just ends up overwhelmed

They spam weak units with poor morale, you can rout them easily if you have a couple cavalry units to flank them.

I just use the tactic i use on everything, including rome.
I create one perfectly balanced full stack.
I attack, destroying the enemy armies, retraining when necessary.
I take their cities one at a time.
    Their empire falls.

This strategy works because I can invade several areas at once, because I dont have too many armies in one location. In later game, I might even send two armies against a big faction. Watch them crumble!

I build up about 3 stacks, using them to defend invasion routes. Once their ability to spam is reduced via other fronts/recruitment pool/money/etc, send your stacks to quickly take out key settlements. This probably explains why my economy is in a wavelength-ish line on the graph

This one os easy to answer in theory but I still get myself into messy invasions...

They say planning is the key, building up stacks of troops to take over & garrison occupied cities & I think it is the key.

Stocking up on militia & cheap garrison troops.

I have just destroyed the Cumans in my recent game as the Mongols & it became a years long campaign like Iraq - there were little stacks all over the place, bandits etc etc - took patience & a lot of troops to finally supress these infidels...

What's part of the fun is trying to build up an invasion force, only to have someone ruin it by attacking you first!!

At the start of the campaign make alliances with Factions that border your lands, Trade rights and gifts and butter them up. They will always be a buffer and allow you to grow your economy.
If my settlement are not on the frontline, the Garrison will always fill up all free recruitment slots. If on Frontline recruit miltias like crazy to defend these settlements, cheap outlay and spearmen after armour upgrades can hold up and defeat most opponents.
The number of battlestacks I use is 3-4 at a time, but I usually fight on 1-2 fronts, never more. Always Always build up your Navies and secure the sea, then use your fleets to deliver amphibious assaults against poorly defended AI faction settlements, the AI never ever in my time considers an assault in this manner

Defend? I tend to collect my army, and then look towards whichever poor bastard is nearest!
