Any comments and suggestions for the beta? Unit proposals or anything I should fix before the former 2.0 release? It should be in a week or two...

Does this correct the Roman CTD? I'm afraid to start a new game as Rome with regular RTRPE.
Other than that great to see work still happening to Platinum.
I once again will bring up peterofnj's try.
Maybe you can bring the other Rome factions up as dead_until_resorected as dummy factions.
Well, I'd reject it for the same reasons as EB. Romans had no civial war back in 280 BC, and 4 factions of identical units are just ..... not very intersting and not good use of very limited faction slots. The great diversities is what makes classical-age mods like RTR and EB much better than others IMHO. And that's why I spent so much time re-doing the eastern part.![]()
Fair enough. I guess I just haven't had a full fill of vanilla RTW.
So the dummy faction is out as well, seeing you need the new slots.
As long as they're being used, I think that will prevent the 100 BCish CTD. They don't have to be nessasarily Roman, just used.
Great job on the mod, I will try this later tonight![]()

You have done a great job with the easterns and I am sure more to come. However what about carthage and greek factions?
The fact is that FOE isn't out yet and who knows when.... Which part you think are you going to act next?
Well, thanks for everything aqd.
A new unit for 2.0 former release:
Iberians in spain vs Iberians in georgia!
The grayish guys are Georgian swordsmen. They come from the Kingdom of Iberia - not confused with spain. It's above Armenia, in modern-day georgian territory. Their people are called "Iberians" (Iberiai) and the warriors also used javelins and short swords, like the Iberians in spainAccording to the information I digged from EB forum, the swords were popular in early times and gradually replaced with axes in RTR's era. But I have already changed the Cyrtian swordsmen to axemen, so they're given swords too as in EB.
The unit is available in Kotais, Artaxarta, and Armavir. They represent picked warriors from Georgia and so in spite of their *lightness* they should be nearly equal to Roman Principes or Helenistic Thorakitai in close-combat, but weaker against missiles.
I guess it's the last unit before former release (perhaps it should be called v2.1?) ... The Bactrian part is too big and have to be pushed to v2.5 instead.
simply awsome as all the units from you.
Why does it say my temporary key has expired? And to contact the program's author?
This is right after I hit the alex.exe
EDIT
I think I reinstalled alexander 1 too many times. I'll remember to keep that exe...
Does anyone know the CA link that will let me (buy again) Alex TW?
EDIT
Just ordered off of Amazon![]()

should be in 2 or 3 months![]()
Excellent course, the new version will be legions of Marius and historical introduction??? Thank you for your reply
Um no, not this one![]()
Conquest Gauls without professional legions. With the help of hastati ,trarii??
Not a problem. It was much easier than conquering iberia, both in history and in the mod![]()
I think that the reform to play without distorting the history of the game and ask to add the reform
