Does the Black Death affect the AI?

Every time the plague hits, I get decimated and the AI decides to fling stack after stack at me yet none of the AI units seems to be affected by the plague. They're all at full strength. Does the plague affect AI units?

yes, they get decimated. Look at the graphs, their populations drop a hell of a lot too.

Their stacks were probably outside the cities so werent affected.

AI gets silly ammounts of free money so they can easily still fling out the stacks, despite the black death

During the Black Death movement should be resticted one because everyone was afraid to leave their homes and two because armys are slowed down by desiese. remeber desiese was a common place in the middle ages most people didn't live until 30 or 40 only the very wealthy lived to their 50's or 60's sanatation was very low until the reniceince or in other places in the world such as the middle east and greece where they had hospitals and sewers.

About the money, why does the AI get so much of it at the start?

So they don't fail right at the start, and so they'll actually build things in their cities. From what I hear, they get a ridiculous amount of money every turn also, or whenever their coffers get too low.

If you set "Campaign Difficulty" to normal, they won't have five stacks when you can barely afford one. They'll still have an advantage, but it's not like they can afford two armies for every city they have

they need the money because they are so ridiculously stupid without it that they have no idea what to do without the money. it does provide a challenge though, which is a nice change from vanilla.

I've found gracul's AI in one word brutal. I have an Iberian game going right now where the Moors actually feel like the 800lb gorilla to the south they should be. Crusade against cairo? Sacked alexandria, and got mauled by 4 stacks on the way to cairo.

It may not think as well as a player, but its aggressive, and the recruit priorities have it building good units now.
