Default Novice composer looking for first mod

Hello! I've been a frequenter of this site for years and finally brought myself to registering because I want to try my hand at composing some tracks for a mod.

I've been playing the total war series from medieval up and have a deep respect for some of the Great mods this community has produced and I would very much wish to be a part of it.
That said, I'm an unschooled composer In the "learning the ropes" phase over the past months I've saved enough to buy some really decent software and would like to put it to use.

Here are some demos I've put together.

I'm mainly looking to join a team working on a med2 or kingdoms mod and my main sample library is a full orchestra and large assortment of ethnic and non ethnic percussions followed by ethnic instruments and band instruments.

I have plenty of time to spare but I've never really made music on demand so I'm not to sure how fast I can turn out songs so you gota take a chance on that one

My mod 'Rise of the Mughals' is looking for some original indian sounding music. It is for Empire Total War, but it is also a ground breaking mod set in an entirely new setting for a Total War game. Your demo sounds brilliant, and your skill level is already very good (i tried garage band myself last night, and... well, i think i'll stick to modding ;P ). PM me if you are interested, and if you want more information click my sig.
A new mobile phone tower went up in a town in the USA, and the local newspaper asked a number of people what they thought of it. Some said they noticed their cellphone reception was better. Some said they noticed the tower was affecting their health.

A local administrator was asked to comment. He nodded sagely, and said simply: "Wow. And think about how much more pronounced these effects will be once the tower is actually operational."

Very nice music, I'm sure there's plenty of mods which could greatly use your services.

Sounds good, maybe you could put something together and release it to the community rather than working with one mod, as JK did here, at least then you can work at your own pace.

Well the reason I opted to join a team over releasing a large catalog like that (It's quite good btw) was to limit myself to a certain degree. I wanted to stick to say a single era/culture/region and learn how to compose in that style wile also having the motivation of a team project to keep me creating and learning. If that makes any sense:hmmm:

I'd really like to do something like that for the community though, maybe a few months down the road.

Think you could do anything native North American? Or perhaps drum and fife music?
ah... I decided to mainly work with Copperknickers on the Rotm mod and due to the time buffer maybe some side tracks for the Africa mod. I don't wont to commit myself to to much but possibly if I can, I could make maybe a single menu track for you some time.

Indeed, releasing an album featuring tracks you want would be great, and multiple mods could benefit from that.
