Whats the best mod out there. I am looking to add to native...
Alistair Yronwood - Lord of Yronwood, Warden of the Stone Way, Blood Royal

"Darkness? I was born in it...molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man. By then it was nothing to me but blinding! The shadows betray you because they belong to me!
"But there must always be a Darth Traya, one that holds the knowledge of betrayal. Who has been betrayed in their heart, and will betray in turn."

"You clearly don't know who you're talking to, so let me clue you in. I am not in danger, I AM the danger! A guy opens his door and gets shot and you think that of me? No. I am the one who knocks! "

Native Extension is good, but it's a little hard. Native Expanded Mod changes the unit equipment to be more in line with their factional choices, so you can identify them by look. NoNameYet mod adds some nice little touches (talk to guildmaster from menu etc.) but isn't a big mod. Native + Tweaks is just that, Native with a few tweaks (such as bigger armies, miore prisoners etc.)

"Five had been his brothers. Oswell Whent and Jon Darry. Lewyn Martell, a prince of Dorne. The White Bull, Gerold Hightower. Ser Arthur Dayne, Sword of the Morning. And beside them, crowned in mist and grief with his long hair streaming behind him, rode Rhaegar Targaryen, Prince of Dragonstone and rightful heir to the Iron Throne."

it depends on your tasts. 1257,1080,etc is good, for history. Timless kingdoms has romans VS knights. starwars calradai is amusing in a good way to play. NE is your best bet for staying within the game vannilla premises. its harder, but its worth it! it lets you sell valuble prisoners like knights for more mony then, lets say, looters. it lets you bet more money on tounements too. not to mention the chance of becoming king of your OWN nation. of course, the diffucluty is such that the shirtless rusty butcher knife weilding dozen man looter bands are replaced by swarms of 20-100 man Mercanairy bands with mail and good weapons.
"WE WILL SMITE THE INVADERS FROM OUR SKIES! Though they sweep over our lands like the sands of winter, never again will we bow before them; never again endure their oppression; never again endure their tyranny. We will strike without warning and without mercy, fighting as one hand, one heart, one soul. We will shatter their dreams and haunt their nightmares, drenching our ancestors' graves with their blood. And as our last breath tears at their lungs; as we rise again from the ruins of our cities...they will know: Helghan belongs to the Helghast." -Scholar Visari

You should take a look at the mod list and see if you find one which suits your interests.

"Therefore I am not in favour of raising any dogmatic banner. On the contrary, we must try to help the dogmatists to clarify their propositions for themselves. Thus, communism, in particular, is a dogmatic abstraction; in which connection, however, I am not thinking of some imaginary and possible communism, but actually existing communism as taught by Cabet, Dézamy, Weitling, etc. This communism is itself only a special expression of the humanistic principle, an expression which is still infected by its antithesis – the private system. Hence the abolition of private property and communism are by no means identical, and it is not accidental but inevitable that communism has seen other socialist doctrines – such as those of Fourier, Proudhon, etc. – arising to confront it because it is itself only a special, one-sided realisation of the socialist principle."

I just started playing Eagle and the Radiant Cross and I have to say it's pretty fun. They put a lot of work into that with all the new armors, the guns, and reworking of all the factions and troops.

I agree, that mod is one of the most impressive creations I've played since The Last Days mod (did that just die?)
The Eagle and the Radiant Cross is an awesome mod as well, I've spent many hours playing that.
    Coming soon.

The Last Days isn't dead they are just taking awhile, when it is released it is probably going to be even more full of win than the previous version

indeed it is......ancient Greek soldiers are soooo badass. But since armies try to act in phalanx foramtion my computer has difficult times. But it feels great to be among phalanx, untill you realzie they moved and you are alone against 60 men

Yeah the battles seem longer and much more hard fought too. I don't cut through swaths of the enemy like I did in native but then that can sometimes be less enjoyable haha.

I'm currently enjoying "The eagle and the radiant cross". Can't play anything else. I'm glad I'm getting more and more excited about gunpowder based warfare.

Those are cowardly weapons, all missile weapons should only be used when the enemy is running like a little girl. not really.

I haven't played the Peloponneseian war et, it said it was just a demo, so i didn't download it. So how much new content is actually in the demo?

As for the OP, Lords of Realms, and Prophesy of Pendor are pretty good, tons of new items.

If your looking for something unique, try the WW2: China Battlefield mod, it pretty much plays like the FPS...its still in beta so a lot of features still need to be added.

Well all the factions have been changed. But it's still the normal map and cities and such. He's finished making the necessary stuff to change it over, but they're still making scenes for the Greek looking cities and all that. It's a lot of fun regardless though.

I enjoyed the Star Wars mod for a time. The ability to ride hover speeders is a nice one, and they are much more fluid feeling than riding a horse. Some of the special weapons are also fun to use, though they have admittedly not-fantastic animations on some, probably due to impossibilities with the engine. Get one of those flame rifle things, and you got like 5 shots to aim it at the ground in a mass of enemies for super-killing. 1 vs 50 anyone?
