Need install help

Hello all,

Trying to download SS into the main Medieval/Sega directory as directed in the download post however my computer tells me I need administrator permission to do this. However if I try to install it into any one of the Kingdom directories (americas,crusades, etc) it will let me. Can I install into one of these directories for it to work or must it go in the main MTW2 directory in order for the game to work?

Did you change the folder destination for the original vanilla files? If not, then just leave it, it should work fine and that could be a problem.


But for that problem, is your user account the administrator? you might want to consider reinstalling the game into the admin account if it isnt.


you could try right clicking on the entire M2 folder, going into properties, and deselecting "read only". it should work,
