    Default Character Traits?

To my understanding I don't feel anyone of us knows the full extent or meaning of the traits of Characters on the game. Like Chivalry determines the honor level of A character; Piety is how religious he is.

Dread is how mean and hateful he is; Command determines the chance
of victory is for auto determine battle; and morale on the battlefield.
The way I see it An army under command under A general with full Chivalry and Command is more likely not to route and fight to the death.
Subterfuge is the chance of Spies and Assasins succeding A mission.

Authority I really don't understand....., but I do know that the more stats and higher the stats of A general; the more public order the city under governance of A general has. So could anyone tell me what Authority is?

Thx to anyone who tells me, and I hope this thread will help anyone else who has A little trouble understanding Character traits.

It's how much respect your leader has among your generals and peoples, the more you have the less likely people are to rebel... Supposedly.

What I don't get the is the retinue one of my generals got the tax farmer one but all my city taxes are set to low. :hmmm: Baffling!

It doesn't turn your taxes from low to medium it just makes your tax income increase.

You get it by putting A general in A settlement and building like land clearence, crop rotation, and irrigation; stuff like that.

There Isn't one I see some scales, A light bulb and a report button.

Is there a chart or something anywhere which shows how generals get any trait and what you have to do to get it?

Ok I'm pretty sick of sending my generals into battle and doing everything chivilrous and yet still getting things like "winning first" and I was wondering how to stop this...

When I do get the "Chivilrous in Rule" the next turn I look at "Faction anouncments and see "Trait Decrease= (Characters name) and it goes down can someone that knows about this stuff tell me?

    Thanks VPO

The most annoying one is that: "Feels unappreciated" trait, it's pisses me off so much, I conquered many cities and he still won't be happy, I even put the king next to him and he still doesn't get the appreciated trait back, I might as well kill him (He's Deformed, He's In-Bred, He's dreadful, he's perverted, he has an adultress, and many many things that are horrible to describe).
Seriously, how the did I get the In-Bred one?

    Why?.........

Because it makes your general look like a puff and your units take a moral hit.

    I'm probably just nitpicking though.
