I like Europe for it's diversity of culture and it's history all while (the majority of the countries...) we work together, I'd probably move to Asia if it ever became a "United States of Europe".

I don't really think European Unity should really go beyond the European Union. Combining us all into a super state wouldn't work, our nations are simply too diverse, economies are greatly different depending where you go, it just couldn't happen.

However, I would like to see less political barriers within Europe. For example, when travelling by ferry to Ireland, all I need is a form of ID, yet to travel through the Channel Tunnel or by Ferry to France, I need a full passport, which seems like a lot of fuss since we're supposed to be practically joint nations now.

I'm not sure on this myself, but how easy is it to cross borders on the continent does anyone know?

Yes they are a danger to our culture, not all but alot.

Point is that if Europe unites, the EU burocrates will add as many nations as possible without thinking of the impact.

As the EU burocrates are mostely leftish idiots, discussing about curves in fruits/vegtables.
If the EU stays as it is, an economical partnership everything will be better.
Think of govermental expenditure, the west has to pay to develop the eastern infrastructure.
And even Germany and Belgium still use wooden telefone poles and there is no country that has better roads than mine, so it will only cost us alot of money and our independence.
