hardest difficulty to play?

maybe someone can set this strait for me once and for all..

what is the hardest to play? i always played vh/vh in m2, but when i started rtw people said h/vh is hardest because vh doesnt get bonuses or something?

then again, there are others who also say vh/vh is hardest for rtw?

maybe someone can set this strait for me..

well, logic tells me that it is very hard(what she said), i think the bonus goes up on VH and there is a bigger use of mercenaries.

Hard/Hard is the hardest. VH/VH is less challenging and more buggy, since your first cohort gets destroyed by iberian infantry.
There is also a bug thingy in which H/H is harder than VH/VH.

According to the RS dev team, H/VH is the hardest, due to some bugs on the VH campaign difficulty. VH battle difficult has nothing wrong with it, the AI bonuses are still there. But Legio's right, your troops will be torn apart in a melee. VH just ecourages you to spam missiles, which the AI can't handle.

Sorry to criticise the game, but I played easy on my first try (skipped the tutorial and wanted to adapt smoothly to the new gameplay), I went as the Julii. I completed with relative ease. Then I felt a little cocky, and went on Very Hard as the Scapii, didn't encounter any major problems, besides more annoying rebels and Britons. When it came to the attack on Rome (which I was completely unprepared for) I flattened the Brutii in 8 moves.

your sure you didnt forget to change the difficulty.
