    Good Find, do you know of any historical fortifications present at the start of XGM's time frame.

    More like Pelusium, which was a fortified settlement more than a town...

    I think we could find many from cut settlement in vanilla RTW, BI, ALEX, and Magnus Mundus as well as old xgm. And it would be better if LucretiusTC would agree to be think-tank for this matter as he very master in find old city as he already post description of many of them.

    with this logic, many of cut down Aegean town on island should become watch tower(minor settlement) which worth capture to monitor Aegean sea which quite thrive for naval battle.

    It would be better if have road pass, connect or literally sit on the road for all these forts in disguised as it will become strategically importance due to control of land trade through road which will be block it when rebel of enemy occupied it.

    Hmm...but who can change the map to served this proposed?

    If this feature implement along with hoplite close formation(which also have been proposed recently) have been solved and implement, I will stop playing with BI and play all in ALEX instead.
