    Default Mod Compatilbility

I'm guessing, like all games that use mods, there are bound to be some that aren't compatible together. Doe's anyone have ton's of mods that are willing to make a list that shows that they are compatible? I currently know that 1257, GE Textures 2.5, and Punkt's HiRes Campaign Map Texture 2.0. fit well into the game, but can I add anymore?

    ------------

Dam, put it in the wrong forum, can a moderator please move this thread to the mod forum?

    Thanks

I assume that you know that major mods are all compatible with each other. As for things like Graphic enhancement and tweaks they should all be compatible as long as they don't infringe on each others business.
"So there I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopowner and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really. But, sure enough, I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show."

Most good mods will either say which ones they are compatible with or warn you what files they change so you can note that when installing other mods on top of your main major mod. You really just have to check the read me files when you download them if they don't already state instructions where ever they are hosted.

Any texture changing mods like GE 2.5 usually work fine with any of the major mods.
