Cheater I am

I was wondering if anyone knew how to use create_unit cheat? It seems to only work on my hastati, velite, medium cavalry, and scorpions. No naval or new infantry units. I looked at the export_descr_unit_enum text. Anyone know what's going on? got any examples? also the give_trait cheat? Is it the whole name, first name, family name, or surname?

Why would you want to cheat like that? In my opinion, it makes the game less fun.

One thing I really hate when reading The Rome forums is whenever anyone asks for help finding or using cheats, someone always asks, why would you want to do that, why would anyone want to do anything, why would you play RTR over Europa Barb, or any other MOD, why would anyone play anything but the original RTW, so why not ask those questions.

It's so stupid for people to keep saying why would you want to cheat, who cares, people come here for and to other forums for help, so if you can help them.

I like to use cheats, because I have a job and a life, I don't have all day and night to play Rome or other games I like, so I must cheat or I could never enjoy them at all, so I cheat to save time so I can play not only Rome but other games, there is not enough time in the day for 1 big time consuming game like RTW or RTR or others, let alone trying to play 2 or 3 or more games, there are many old and new games out that are very good to play, but who has time, so I cheat when I can to speed things up, I don't have all day to sit in Age of Empires 2, one of my favorite games and let them build so slowly, so I cheat with fast builds.

So please stop whining and asking why would you want to cheat, just because you may have all the time in the world to play Rome from beginning to end without cheating, others may not, some may just plain enjoy using certain cheats, or all of the cheats who knows.

WHy do you come to a forum, why would you want to, :violin2:

Depends if u are that dedicated gamer that never cheats and u think it spoils the game .. others might find fun using it , personnaly i like without cheating but do not complain about cheating if u dont use it .. unless u are a victim of it

Well, ill use an example for the give_trait that i tend to use alot. I don't cheat much... but i pretty much give the same trait to all my favorite generals, lol. The following is exact:

give_trait "Areus of_Sparta" "Fertile" 3

Makes em have bunches of babies!!!!! lol.
