    Default Installing from ground up

Can someone link me to or tell me exactly what order to install MTW2 from vanilla to SS 6.1? The MTW is not the Gold version(got game as soon as it came out) I can't remember if there is a patch to put on before the expansion. Also, what folder do I put SS into? Would I put sub-mods into same folder? I did a search, but alot of irrelevent stuff comes up.

Answer: None because snakes do not have arm pits.

Install MTW2, Kingdoms, then SS 6.0 part 1, SS 6.0 part 2, SS 6.1 patch, and then if you want to SS 6.2 RC3. I would recommend 6.2 it is for me just as stable if not more than 6.1 and fixes a lot of bugs.

The Kingdoms installation will patch MTW2. Just install to the default C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Stainless_Steel_6 as it will be much easier to install submods if you do.

You could also patch to 1.5 with kingdoms before going SS.

    EDIT: Previously post explained everything.

You could even consider backing up the medieval2 directory after you've installed kingdoms. If you want to do a fresh install later on, you wouldn't have to wait for the installing and patching all over again.
