Re: Wanna start, what to get?
ok, you should have seen that the folders go into the Medieval Total War folder, right? If you tried to put them into TLR folder you went one step to far. Delete and do as instructed. Let me know if that works.

Re: Wanna start, what to get?
So basically - I install the TLR, and then unpack the patch, and move the ENTIRE patch contents into the MTW 2 folder, where it will ask me to rewrite anything already there under the TLR folder. Right or wrong? Maybe its just me but I could not find the instructions ... (feels shamed)

That is correct. I did not give exact instructions. Do not feel ashamed.

Re: Wanna start, what to get?
Well, I tried again. Deleted whole folder, copied a new fresh patched copy of MTW II (1.2), then installed the 2.0 TLR mod and it worked pretty much easily. Then I tried to patch it from that 400mb patch via copying files into the folder of MTW, asked to rewrite, so I clicked yes and now again, I cannot play

Re: Wanna start, what to get?
don't install 2.0. there is no need as 2.1.1 is a beta update. 2.1.1 is not a patch, but a mod update itself. Patch Med2 to 1.3 and see if that helps.
what I did is take the version of TLR that I have out of my Med2 folder and Winrar it. Cuz autoloaders seem not to work. If you can't make this work for you, I can't help you.
gonna release a new version as this one is shot.

Re: Wanna start, what to get?
So I deleted the folder. Copied it again, and then I put in the 2.1.1 file in its entirety, no 2.0 done, nothing. And still, crashing right on start. Maybe gotta try patchin it, you run on 1.3?
