Nope, they are being overly accurate. The Latin alphabet didn't contain the letter "u" until the middle ages, and a "v" character was used to represent both the U and V sounds.Does anyone else think something is wrong with this guy`s name?

A better question, though, is that if they were trying to be that accurate, why are they use lower case letters for his name? Those didn't show up until the middle ages either.
