Be glad your general didn't start talking about how his mother had sent him to the battlefield, and that he didn't want to, but his mother had told him he needed to, etc.

I actually had a couple generals who did that... oddly enough they were some of my best generals.

Reminds me of the WRE general from vanilla BI campaign who had something like -15 to morale (as well as an archer bodyguard, oddly.) I accidentally put him in an army and had my comitatenses rout against a couple levy spear-type units. Fortunately I had some reinforcements who were generaled by a captain.

Ouch. I've not gotten them that bad in RTW. Usually I kill them before that happens.

He exists at the start of the WRE campaign. He's actually a decent governor, just do not put him within a hundred miles of a battle.
