How do i get in on this alliance? EU3

Hey guys, basicly i need some help, i started a game as Prussia in 1701 and i want to get an alliance with saxony, russia and poland, my relations with saxony is 200, my relations with poland and russia was - but now its about +50 and with royal ties it should keep rising, but every time i ask saxony for an alliance it sais its impossible, so how do i get an alliance with any of them countries? especially saxony since because its leading a personal union with poland?

I think the AI is a little reluctant to have more than 2 or 3 alliances. It's just an observation that nations with 3 alliances will almost never accept alliance requests.

Thanks, how come i cant annex a nation even though i control all of its provinces?

because u cant annex outright any nation with more than one province. u can demand loads of their provinces if u want but u cant annihilate them.. have to have another war with them later (orpossibly a few more depending on their size) to get to the stage where u can annex them

Sometimes it will, sometimes it won't, the game is a 'new' game every time, so Prussia might form every time, or more likely, only once in a blue moon.

if you're playing the in nomine expansion the game will tell you under the national decisions tab.

If not, well, you basically need to conquer scotland and ireland (not sure about ireland) and gain cores on the major cities. Like Edinburgh. Then you can become great britain (in IN you can do it immediately, if not, then the event to become GB will fire sometime in a few years.)
