Default Domus of Lucius Antonius Seneca

The home of a plebian, his father a military man and former senator. He is a soldier with quick wit and a brutish sense of being. Come with good news and leave with a new friend, come with bad news and feel the lash of his tongue. Call him Seneca if you will, he truly hates formality. He is a bit of a womanizer as he still has a bit of a young buck left in him, and he is quite rapacious. An intriguing character who will make sure he goes down in the history books.

Claudius Marcellus enters the home. He casts his eye around, and is a bit taken aback by the very... plebian style. Nevertheless, he strides forward and introduces himself.

'Seneca, I believe, my name is Marcus Claudius Marcellus, but you can just call me Marcellus. If I am not mistaken, I saw you earlier in the Optimates. I do wish that you would join us. I have not being a member for very long, but I can asure you, it is the best place to be in. The soldier in you, I have taken the liberty of educating myself of your record, will surely be telling you to support us, after all, the welfare of the soldiers is our top priority.

I have greeted you as a friend, now, I wonder, can I greet you as a colleague?'

It's a pleasure to meet you. And your eyes have not tricked you, it was me you saw in the Optimates. Very intriguing, yes. And you also come prepared, very good... I can already tell I like you! And since you've gone about it so politely, I do believe colleague would be a term I can get used to

Seneca grinned and opened up, extending his arm out as is customary in Roman culture among men. Meeting new people-- smart people-- was the first step in climbing the ranks of the jungle.

    Marcellus does the same

Well now, since we are colleagues, you are most welcome in my home, anytime. But for now, I have some more business to attend to, so, I will take my leave of you. It's been an honour.
