error when playing

So I installed a clean RTW with BI. Installed the patches to 1.5 but I did not get 1.6 BI patch. So I installed it and what not and then I tried to do a campaign and when I clicked on it said "Please select a item from the list", the same with provincial campaign. What is the problem???

You have stated the answer in your description. You have BI, but didn't d/l the 1.6 patch. Install the patch, reinstall XGM, and you should be good to go. You may want to delete the XGM folder before installing patch, though.

Install RTW, then BI, then the 1.6 patch (don't install 1.5), then install XGM.
