Hi there, i know this is a basic question but here it goes:

What is the version needed to install the mod? Do i need the kingdoms instaled? Does it need to be patched? To what version?

you need kingdoms

i'd recommend you patch kingdoms to the final 1.5 patch level.
(but 1.3 should work)

you'll need stainless steel 6.0 parts 1and 2; then the 6.1 patch and if you're feeling adventurous the latest version of the 6.2 patch.

i'd avoid installing any further sub-mods until after the 6.2 patch is finalised.

This is odd, should the installed version of Kingdoms be 1.3? I just installed it and the 1.5 patch cant be applied, as the executable version of the 'kingdoms.exe' is 1.3.

Any ideas?

Have you got the normal or the gold version
gold version need a specific patch

I have the gold version, SS works perfectly. I never installed any patches(besides SS patches)
