Total War elections

Why don't we have elections for someone to be president of the TW forums, obviously admin will still exist but they could get a title on their side bar under their avatar. Everyone could get to vote for a candidate (anyone one over 50 posts can stand for election) and the winner gets the title of president of the forum and could sort of represent it as its leader. The winner could also pick a Vice, Secretary and any other roles they want. They could also help pick TW forums awards. They would be elected in the US style so it will go down to two in the end and debates and campaigns would be needed from the start and everyone could vote who wins each debate.

whats the use of this? having a president? and for how long? what if he makes it as president but gives up his reign afther 5 weeks? this would me new elections and so on. not a realy great idea in my opinion.

Is this assuming a democratic operation of a privately owned enterprise? Sounds too communist for the ownership. Just my opinion, but then -- I am not even a citizen, but then neither is the OP.
