    Default The Script Activation

I never, ever forget to activate the script but sometimes it doesn't activate correctly and you need to continually need to check that it is activated by reopening the faction window. And even then sometimes it won't activate correctly and after ending a turn with it off (but not knowing, how could you?) and saving you find it is still off. It's very annoying. Is there a way to make the script activation more reliable? Also it would be nice for those of us that do forget to have the advisor pop up on selecting a city or army (I forget how that is done but it is really useful because you probably won't end turns with it off). Just for consistency, I like to have the script on at all times. Sorry if it seems picky, but it's the little things that gradually make a good mod great. BTW balance is considerably better now, you deserve a pat on the back

    Hi seriousbusiness,
    Merry christmas

Unfortunately a script at all times is not possible. 4 turn per year scripts on a turn turn per year game need to be be always activated before starting or replaying a saved game.

Click slowly when activating the 4 turn per year script. Sometimes clicking very quickly the faction symbol and then your advisor can seemingly cause this issue of it not setting. If your not sure just simly reclick the faction symbol. If she doesn't appear again then its all set. If the script jumps to the end after resetting a saved game or starting a game wuth the script, just reclick your faction symbol and then the advisor and the date will be corrected to where it should be.

    Some quirks yes..apologies

Thanks...lots of work in the balancing that's for sure..can be the most difficult aspect of modding.. or at least time wise

Congratulations for mod, it's very nice and difficult. I saw apart from 4 turns script also alternative factions. You recommend to install, but if I install, which faction will be replaced by Turingians, Gepids? I think that if install a new faction an old faction will disappear

    Hi Frattaglia and thanks,

Yes..just install the alternative faction that you want to play and that faction will appear for you to play and the other faction will no longer be available to play. It will appear as a kingdom but in control by the rebels in 463AD. If play an alternative faction I highly recommend you playing that alternative faction also.

If you want to play the game as it was in original form, install the Suebi alternative faction. This allows you to play the game as first downloaded in its original form. The alternative factions represent that region of the world as it was in 463AD and 434AD so to play the 434AD campaign just make sure the Suebi faction is installed.
