    Default recruitment pannel

will there be a way to recruit the old fashion way, like a scroll coming up with the units avalible? if not im not to happy right now, it seems like the bottom dialog will get annoying and cramped. but then again it might be different because not all the thing are in the same city/town.

so do you like the old scroll method or the new bottom box way.

It's been said that you can recruit all units via the General but also the traditional way.

If you can recruit units via the General, does that General have to be in your territory in order to do so?

Seems a bit much if a single General can spawn an entire army anywhere on the map.

My understanding is that even if you 'order' the units through your general, they are still trained as per normal in a nearby city (and when doen the units march to join the army). It just simplifies managing armies, it doesn't change the core mechanic of recruitment.

Agreed, we can't just instantly make several units appear at our General's location. The units must march to the General from the Barracks that built them.

They are just removing annoying micro management that made late games dull, they did the same type of thing to agents.

It would be cool if you could train your recruits on the march
