Target HDD size

Is there an ideal size (in terms of MB or GB) for DotS or is this a matter of see how it plays along? I've already seen SS and DLV wreck havoc on the contents (or therein lack of) of my hard drive.

We're looking at something probably around a gig, if not, more. There's so much we're hoping to put into the mod although we're trying to keep HDD space to minimum.

I'd say at least a Gig man. The music pack and other things will have to be released separately based on sheer volume. BUt yeah it looks like its going to be big, but we are just not worrying about that at all. I reckon the feeling in the team is that we make the best mod we can and then people will want to download it no matter the size.
It's not size that matters...but what you do with it that counts!

Un-install it and use Xp.. will free up half of your resources

that would be dumb since xp doesnt use any of the new stuff vista uses, if your worried about space just buy a 1TB HHD and youll be fine

I don't think so, Vista may use up more resources and have its flaws, but its certainly MUCH better than XP.

Well I supposedly have a good dozen or so GB left but my computer goes ape anytime I try using that space. By this artificial limit, I'd say enough to count on one hand before I'm up to my elbows in crap again.

Probably a virus, do you defrag your HDD, go to this website and download this http://www.auslogics.com/en/. It should resolve many, if not all of your computer problems; however, you will need a serial for it, but I can't disclose that over the forum so either email me or good luck.

I bought a new hard drive for this game haha. All my mods and games and so on are just to big.
