I can't patch to 1.6 in order to install the mod!

I recently picked up barbarian invasion, installed it just fine. My Vanilla Rome was patched to 1.5 before install. If I check the options menu for BI, it says version 1.4 in the top right corner. However, when I try to install the patch, I get this error



Any ideas?

Hmm, I don't remember the exact solution to this, but I believe it's been brought up more than once in the Eras Technical Help subforum, pretty sure you'll find the solution there.

did u figure out how to fix this problem?
coz i i have the same problem, but for a different mod, and im planning on getting this mod anyway, so i'll prob have the same problem with it too.

You need to work out what version you have of RTW and RTW BI. To work that out run each version of the game. The version number is shown in the top right hand side.

When RTW BI was released the latest version of RTW was 1.3. RTW BI was released as 1.4.

Sometimes when people have RTW 1.5 installed and install RTW BI 1.4 then the RTW reverts from 1.5 to 1.3.

Until you have details of which versions you really have installed then it's a waste going any further.
