1. Is it possible to put strict limit to unit spam?
- It seems highly unrealstic that the AI can mass produce full stacks all across the map and repetively send them against you, lose them all, and have no real represcussion for the loss of a full stack. Example: I (KoJ) was attacked by a full stack of Saracens. They are beaten easily when they assaulted Jerusalem, but in their same turn they sent another full stack. Next Saracen turn comes around i repel them and they send another full stack the very same turn. This contiues for 3 more turns until they eventually stopped. I think i can finally begin recruitments but then they send countless small stacks that siege my city and quickly run away snickering. This continued for a hour or so then the big stacks returned and Tripoli eventually fell to the waves since i cant really do much but cheat at that point but i feel like a cheap ass when i use cheats. This is really annoying because there doesnt seem to be any reprecussions to their wastefullness. In every attack they sent to Jerusalem i managed to kill their leader (including Saladin!) yet they kept coming. They should be suffering from massive shame at the loss of 5 leaders and Saladin and should be considering maybe a truce until their leadership builds back up. Now i know some factions should have a numerical advantage such as Novgorod and the Saracens but this seems far more unfair? in a way. Smaller nations stand no chance to the infinite wave of hell that descends upon the frail people turn after turn after turn. Also since autoresolves is so pro AI i never use it so these constant defenses take hours out of the day and take away from the fun for me since its ALWAYS the same and they all lose the SAME by my bottlenecking them as they throw their commander pathetically into my wall of spearmen. I there a way to limit their production to more reasonable and sensical levels or is there a way to punish them for being horribly wasteful with their command staff, faction leader, and the countless soldiers they lose. The only negative that seems to occur is they just lose men which are quickly replaced in 1 turn since their coffers fill with gold that they dont need to use to finance their once living army. The nation should feel humiliated for these loses not just as zealous and blindly throwing mass waves in suicides....
(note i usually play as the Teutonic Order, KoJ, and HRE- HRE i never have these issues since the empire is big enough to contend with its very annoying neighbors, but small factions amongst the big honchos seem to suffer alot-)
2. is it possible to shrink the map a bit?
- maybe just nitpicking but i think its just a massive waste of space by having so much land in Africa. The cities are at the most northern point and the rest of the land is all monotonous desert that serves no point.
3. is diplomacy still being worked on?
- i still have situations when a faction asks for a alliance and attacks me the same turn.
4. is there changes in the money script?
- the AI seems to still be pumping out stacks when in the diplomats deal making screen it shows their economy as abysmal or bankrupt....
5. Is it possible to make more reprecussions for attacking fellow catholic factions
- the excommunication system seems to function more as a sissy slap on the wrist that the AI never really cares about and neither do i. If the system cannot be made better perhaps removal would be more acceptable since it doesnt seem to serve much of a purpose.
