Without the Americas on it , I don't know about you guys but I think it really detracts from the experience if you have english longbowen circa 1200 fighting aztecs.

Intresting , yes.

Realistic and fun , no.

The reason I say this is because any faction that gets it usually actually doesn't benefit it at all , why?

Because they put a redicolus amounts of troops in the Americas due to the unrest penalties!

So I ask if it is possible to maybe have a provincal campagin identical to the grand one , only without americas.

Maybe there should be some incentives for capturing the American settlements? Such as earning a lot from trade, etc. That would make it more interesting.

America has settlements with 25% base farming. On a poor harvest they make 3K ...
It also makes them really hard to hold, what with being so far and with a load of angry peasants.

I've been thinking that it might be a good idea to send over a bunch of heavily armored troops and just constantly re-exterminate or re-enslave the towns there for money or population back home.
