Assuming the world doesn't end of course
Only one president I think ended up doing anything politically after the presidency, I think it was Andrew Johnson becoming a senator afterward(that's a funny word).
Well, Obama hasn't had much of a career in the first place, barely any time as a Senator, just a bit of time as a city councilmen was all he did wasn't it? Well, what will he do after? Run for senate again? Or just go retire and be done with everything? I guess it all depends on how popular he'll be during his presidency, but if he becomes senator again after being president he'll definitely have a strong voice in the senate.
The thing is I think if he doesn't go back and run for senate again he'll just prove he was nothing more than an ambitious egotistic elitist prick, but I guess he could also come off as that if he goes back. Kind of a weird situation.
