Neither. The US/UK Troops should'nt be there in the first place, and the Arab militants (some, not all) have committed serious crimes against the civilian population as a matter of strategy (whereas the coalition has only done it by accident.)

That being said, I always have a soft spot for the underdog in any conflict, as long as they at least attempt to keep up a facade of nobility. Most of the Arab groups in Iraq do not qualify.

I will go with Rhah's description. If the Arab militants did not torture and kill and drill holes with "black & decker" equipment in their own countrymen, then maybe I would sympathize with them as a "resistance".

But as it is now, I just feel sorry for the people, not really support anyone.

Ummm, actually it is the Total War forums, as in the game series. It isn't a war site, it's a game forum that like so many others has spread into a whole bunch of random things that have nothing to do with the game.

That being said, I support the American and British troops and more European nations need to send troops to the Middle East.

I'm not Iraqi nor do I have any monetary gain from this conflict, so I can't fully declare favoring for one side or another.

But I admire the nationalist resistance groups for taking on the most brutal and unholy occupation taking place in the world. Despite the use of heavy machinery and modern equipment, Iraqi militias are defiantly taking initiative to punish those trespassers. They deserve respect.
