New installation for Vista - missing files/folders

Hello Everybody,

I have a new laptop with Vista professional and I have made the installation of MTW II & Kingdoms.

The game is running properly, but I cannot see many important folders and files. For example the are not TGAS, PREFERENCES, SAVES (I can save the game or keyboard settings...) folders...

Here is the MTW II folder content:


The installation steps which I have made were:
1. MTW II Installation
2. Kingdoms Installation (all)
3. unpack_all.bat
4. Patcha 1.5 Installation
5. Rusichi TW mod Installation

I tried to reinstall all and after that the folder has the same content.
With Rusichi the MTW II folder is abut 13,1GB...

Could you help me, and explain what is going on with it? What should I do to have all files and folders?

I had the same problem, but if you press where it says "Compatibility Files" or something like that, it's at the bar where it says "Organize" "Show" "Burn", at least it is like that on my Norwegian version of Vista Home Premium.

I couldn't see the full size of you folder but it fixed it for me.

Sorry, but I do not understand you. Do you mean that the folders and files are hidden? It is just an option of view setings of this folder?

I have clicked "Compatibility Files" button. Everything is all right now!
