You sound perfect, then. If you want to succeed at WoW, you need almost 0% social contact.

Don't get it! Seriously. If you want to play a MMORPG, try RuneScape. It's free, and it runs in your web browser, so you can do more interesting things while you play it.

Yeah, WoW is definitely the best MMO out there In my opinion, I've tried everyone one and I would say Warhammer is a runner up.

I Played WoW for almost 5 years (coming this march) I Havn't played ina few weeks, I stopped after I hit 80 with my Warlock

Got any numbers to back that up or is it just a hunch?
(I'm on your side The Dude)

Alright, let me to the math. This will be a broad estimation.

So, there's 2 year intervals between each Xpac, so that's 730 days before they make profit again... that's a long time. Lets start out at The burning crusade.

Roughly 12 million copies sold (11 million subscribed ATM, 1 million who don't play anymore) Thats 708 Million dollars (12'000'000x59$) from just the expansions profits, Now, this number is most likely lower.

Now they need to wait 730 days before they get another profit, how much is 730 days worth of subscriptions? well 24 months so that would be 24(months)x15(fee)x11'000'000(people) = 396'000'0000, Thats ALOT of money that they wouldn't make.

Alright so there's 2 expansions out, so we'll just multiply the burning crusades profits and WOTLK's, which is 1.4 billion$, Not even close to the amount they make from subscriptions.

FINALLY: Annnnd... I just read an article and All my justification is put to shame...

Alright, Blizzard has reported only spending 200 million$ on expendatures (Servers, Ads, All that jazz) Since release in 2004...

200 million... So Now I have a new idea, lets compare Profit/Expenditures.

    Subscriptions
    Year 1: 5 million players = 1'800'000'000 = 1.80 Billion
    Year 2: 7 million players = 2'520'000'000 = 2.52 Billion
    Year 3: 9 million players = 3'240'000'000 = 3.24 Billion
    Year 4: 11 million players = 3'960'000'000 = 3.96 Billion

    Total: 11'520'000'000 = 11.52 Billion from Subcriptions.

    Software Sales
    11 Million X 150$ (WoW, TBC, WOTLK) = 16'500'000'000 = 16.5 billion

TOTAL: 28 Billion... Subtract 200 million... Thats 27.8 billion$ made from Subscriptions and Game sales :O This dosn't even Include Cardgame sales, Diablo sales, Starcraft sales... Warcraft sales... holy shiet. lol

Don't buy WoW, it sucks you in after a while, and you forsake all social contacts to 'go raiding with the guild'
Believe me, I've seen it happen (he's better now though!)

But do what you want, I'm just not much for MMORPGs anyway..

Don't play WoW; life is beautiful...

That should've summed up things nicely.

    WoW sucks.
It built in the way that you can't get anything worthy
    at once,when you max leveled,
so you must grind everyday to achieve some reputation with some faction
and even that is kind of limited.Only one daily for a quest only
25 dailies a day.It also more cruel then Warhammer. You must win some battleground and that is .Suppose your faction particalarily
weak on that battleground so you can compete 7-9 times before you get victory so it would take 3,5 to 4,5 hours and even if your party strong
you can only have one quest a day, while in Warhammer you need only participate and you can complete quest of such type all day long still recieving exp and money.
Throw your WoW version into garbage can and find a better game
    P.S.
Yeah and I Xpect some +rep for my contribution

Old Salnarville beheld hys son lie ded, 235

So was the hope of all the issue gone,

If you liked Baldur's Gate you should save your money for Dragon Age which will be released next year. Bioware is going back to those roots.

Any Blizzard RPG would be rather simple and shallow if you ever played a Bioware RPG anyways.
