don't really get the question, but i think you're asking for SPQR TW with the Romans around 100AD, am i correct? :hm:
so like a late-roman SPQR TW?

so i think that if you want a late roman mod (BI time) you'd best go for Invasio Barbarorum, but i see that's already in your sig

the campaigns starts at 216 BC so this is not at the end of the senate. there is only one campaign so i think you should look somewhere else for a mod that starts at the end of the senate.

don' t quit to fast it is a very difficult mod so keep trying. and play it on M/M settings.

SPQR is not like BI you cant play at those settings otherwise your game will NOT be fun, SPQR is hardcore already and if you play by houserules its even harder. If one decides to play like a child recruiting the same elite units all 20 slots and and just autocalcing etc. Then they get what they deserve but dont expect Harcode players to help advise if you decide to play like a child.

hey budy if you have ever played invasio (there are like 100 diff unitsfor the romans) on Vh/h and play historic, like not moving troops out off there regional areas with out -1000 denrii to your self ( paying the men for leaving there homes)you would understand( oh and by the way you start off losing money and a hord in you hart land). I just wanted a read out on the AI and battles i dont play like a child im a very hard core rtw palyer through and through but if that was not a strab on me im sorry for my rant.

p.s thanks im going to play it in a few days just got to spend time with the gf lol

just play it on m/m and you'll have problems enough with keeping out barbarians and stuff. i used to be a very talented RTW player but with this mod its all realistic and stuff that even i'm not so good anymore(sorry about bragging so much)

indeed, m/m and huge unit scale is the way to go

SPQR TW is very fun as the Romans (it is built for the romans, any other capaign is completely unstable) and you'll have a lot of fun out of it

however it is not a fall-of-rome mod..... Invasio Barbarorum is best for that i think (never played it though)

TTT- Things Take Time, is what i would describe this mod as organizing, tracking and just trying to optimize your empire, and fighting TONS of battles.

but i think then that this may be for an early roman campaign, what invasio is for the late romans
