Utica Shipwright+ crash

Dear experts,

Whenever I'm playing my version of Rome Total Realism and Utica tries to build the upgrade to Shipwright, the game crashes. If I'm Carthage, I can avoid this building and the subsequent crash. In this case, I'm playing Bactria and I'm not even in the area (yet).

Is there any way to script this out? Is there any way to use cheats to avoid this problem? Could I for instance capture Utica and destroy all their ports and then give the city back to Carthage with some compensatory cash? Is there an in-game way to do this?

A couple of points:

do you have the -show_err switch in your command line and if so what kind of error message did you get when it crashed? I'm sure the RTR team would love to know since it's their mod.

Since you say it's your version of the mod, did you mod the export_descr_buildings.txt? It's the only place to cause that kind of a crash.

My first post was confusing. I haven't modded the RTR on this version. It has simply been a compilation of vanilla + patches + RTR 1.9.

First of all welcome to the forum. I presume you are aware that RTR PE has it's own support area? See - http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=436

Anyway, as irishron asked - do you have the -show_err switch on your shortcut target? This is used to trap 'missing file' type of errors and also can pick up some other errors.

Please answer all questions that are raised by the people that are trying to help you. Quite often we are trying to find out things that you've done in your install. If you don't answer the questions you are wasting your time and ours.
