when i try to start a campaign it just ctd's. i dont have 6.4 on the computer and i have xgm installed. can anyone help me?

I think XGM may be your problem since SPQR requires from what I have heard a clean install of RTW and patch 1.5

i removed xgm but the game still doesnt work. do i have to unistall and reinstall it?

for good cause, yes you should reinstall everything. I know its a pain, but files may have been corrupted.

Ohh I know, get a registry cleaner like CCleaner and perform a registry clean. Sometimes the old RTW can leave behind scraps.

Delete the RTW folder when you uninstall otherwise the mod files from other mods doesnt get deleted. Then reinstall and install both 1.3 and then 1.5 patches.

Follow the install instructions posted on this forum. lol Uninstall first then delete the RTW folder, then install RTW then patch 1.3 then patch 1.5 then install SPQR. all should work.

To the other guy with the mount error is the same Problem follow the same instructions above. Also make sure you are installing the COMPLETE mod and not that Small patch.

this was one of my first problems as well. i didn' t delete the rtw folder it still contained a N2TW folder. so my game ctd when starting the battle with the gladiator armie.

Today i install SPQR 7.0 and SPQR patch , the problem is that I was attacked by the Senate only in 10 turns...against senate army i do not have any chance (Becouse i have only hastati).
I activated the script when I started to play, I really do not know what the problem is with senate.
Everything started when I stood in the Senate teretory. Is this a bug or what?

Always, ALWAYS read the read-me files. It says that ending a turn with one of your armies will result in the Senate dispatching it's legions to crush you. It represents the crossing of the Rubicon. Once your in, there is no turning back and Civil War is about to commence. Even though you do have military access, stay out of Latium. But you can go through it. Just make sure your army has enough movement points to get through of course or you could be in for a nasty Civil War.

Didnt you READ the patch in the download right UNDER the Mod download? It says the patch fixes the Senate from attacking you. Of course it doesnt attack you, its just the seperate Naval AI.

ok thanks for the response guys. I have another question. Are the Senate make army in event of fighting with me or somebody else ?
It would be good that I can count on the Senate if Gauls past my defensive line.
