Battles with RS

When i play RS, the campaign works fine, but whenever i go to a battle the game crashes to the desktop. Even when i click "view settlement on battle map" this happens. What is really strange is the game worked fine last week?

I have seen this also. I recently did a re-install of 1.5c and have had one or two crashes here and there- nothing constant.

I do a save right before any big battle just in case.

I would like to here if anybody else has had this problem with 1.5c.

Turn down your graphic settings for the battlefield and see if this resolved the problem. Also, make sure that you've got the -show_err switch on the shortcut target (if you have it should pick up any 'missing file' problems).
