    Default Two Big problems

I installed the newest version, 1.5, and now when I try to start it i get a CTD. The game also messes up my graphics settings in the regular game as well, Leaving some settings on max and some on minimum. Before I updated the mod it messed up my graphics settings but still worked. I can change the graphics settings in game but other than resolution and it won't change in game or on the field of battle. How can I fix these problems? I am using Vista.

Btw I did do a complete unistall and reinstall and patch of mtw2 and kingdoms.

the cfg file from FKoC is countermanding you medieval cfg. use this.

Btw, FKoC is only for Medieval 2 to 1.2, 1.3 requires some modification and is not entirely suitable for Kingdoms. Though that capacity can be surpassed. Update it to 1.3 and I will give you the modded changes. It is vastly superior to 1.2.

I'm now having to reinstall the game again >_>.

it also changes my display interface even after i delete everything in the M2 folder and then replace it with a backed up original folder.

I'm installing M2 and then kingdoms. It will take awhile. What do you mean by modded changes?

There is a thread somewhere on this forum that deals with issues caused by Vista...cant recall what the solution was,but if I run across it before you do I will let you know, but for the mean time use the search tool and search Vista problems..

I don't think Vista is the problem though.

I ran into this problem too. I fixed it by going to the config file (the same one where you change windowed = false) and looking up a few lines. It has lines that state campaign resolution and one that states battle resolution. Change those to whatever resolution you desire. It fixed my problem with that.
My problem is that the battles run a lot slower and lag. The vanilla battles run well enough. My processor is only 1.6 ghz even though the card is 512 mb and ram is 1.2 gb. But i have a noticable difference between vanilla and fkoc. Any ideas why the same graphics settings are running slower?
