European horsemen in americas
Is it just me, or is a charge from spanish english or french horsemen in the Americas TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE to stop? I mean sure you can survivie it, but there seems to be NOTHING available to any native units to defeat these in open-battle! any advice?

Well, your units are cheaper for one... so just block the charge with peasants and then let your Eagles/Jaguars/Braves/Watermelons do their work.
Some factions do get spearmen I believe, so just hope they don't route when they get slugged.

Who's to say rolling watermelons at a cavalry-charge wouldn't stop them in their tracks?? no one though of that before
