Default Plans for modding Empire: Total War?

Since I'm sure the gameplay will be sort of bland like vanilla M2TW, does the team plan on polishing up the next game?

Would love to see a global campaign map

When you say bland, I trustfully poistively absolutly am sure you have not seen any of the previews for E:TW. Go on youtube and watch the previews then come back here with a post that will better suit a more reasonable question. Cheers!

no i mean like, for example in the vanilla m2tw you got troops of 60 as like your max stack, even a mod that doubles the stacks just makes the whole game so much more intense

What are you talking about? You can have larger numbers of troops in unmodded Vanilla! Just go into Options: Game Options, and change unit size to Huge.

I think before we all stone Gigamacdaddy we should remember no-one has played it yet so we don't know if it will be 'bland'. Also that's an option, not fact.
Besides Empire is supposed to be even more moddable than Medieval2 so modding is predictably going to happen and Gigamacdaddy's question is therefore valid. Medieval mods will however be long in the making due to the immense work that will have to be done in conversion so I think everyone will have to keep playing M2 for their medieval fix for some time yet.

I'm just saying, comparing the modded action of the vanilla m2tw with the green bubble outlines and huge banners to the in-depth and realistic/bloody mods like SV... it's not like we all go back to vanilla

    Edit:

You see what I mean? graphics are great, gameplay looks outstanding but it's hard to get fully immersed with huge banners like that
