So what is Nur ad-Din's name in the cheat console?

My program files aren't working so don't bother telling me to look there.

But it didn't do it in the cheat console when I put in "Nur ed_Din"...

all five times.

Well, anyway, I was just trying to Nur "ed" Din so I could own a Crusader stack. But they retreated anyway...

It's not even turn 30 and (as Egypt) I have all of the costal Holy Lands, the south "half" of Cyprus, Jerusalem, Kerak, and Baybas (sp) plus my starting cities.

And a master Hashahaahsahahahan's guild, and I bought Mosul from the Turks for like 13k. Suckers... (Naffutan-producing Citadel for 13,000 florins? THANK YOU VERY MUCH!)

I think you'd need "Nur_ed-Din" or "Nur ed-din". Oh, and thanks for the rep.

another thing you might try.

have the general or whatever, outside a settlement in the open and unstacked with other troops.

Click on the guy and open up the cheat console. Use "this" in place of character name. I've had success using the generic "this" on generals, merchant, priests, priestesess, spies, assassins, and all that, when I couldn't get the name to work. But the character must be alone and outside in the open and targeted by your clicking on him.

Yeah, but the "this" rarely works for me. I got it to work for a week (after I discovered it), but it doesn't work now. And I'm playing as Egypt, I was trying to move him next to my army so we could attack some Christian army.

But I won anyway, so... yeah.

Alternatively, you could learn to mind your own business. If you don't like it, ignore it; it's not doing any harm. Don't make a fuss about it for no reason.

only way to make "this" work is to be outside a city and klick on the character portrait in the army tab window... it works for all kinds of cheats EXCEPT character_reset... i don´t know why this is the case, but it is annoying as hell especially when it comes to characters with "the XXX" traits in their name... this is because you need to write the birth name of the general/princess/spy und so weiter for it to work... but for give_trait command "this" will do (as in give_trait this BigCheater 8)
