Okay, I'll try making some more screenshots as soon as I can.
I've attached a zip version to this post. Try downloading this and see if you can unpack it.
As above, I'll make some more screenshots as soon as I can.
The map is flat because I'm using the map from the Falcom II mod (their map was flat and tree less). I could try adding the map I used to make my Empires world map but this would only make it look bumpy (see below). Also I can't add forests because I don't know where they would of been in the 13th and 14th centuries.
Is there no sound at all or are some sounds missing (character voices, musci, etc)?
The name of each faction is determined by the 'mods\conquest\data\text\expanded.txt' file. You can edit it to change the name of the Eastern Roman Empire to Byzantine Empire, though you'll also need to edit the expanded_c.txt and expanded_g.txt in the same folder.

I believe uanime5 said that he didn't make the terrain, I remember reading it somewhere. And for the 1547 map he either can't or will do it later?
Ok,I see now that this mod don t have terrain, but is very good mod,and when 1547 scenario will be realesed, soo that i can play it?
that map which you are using for emipres is better because is more realistic,i reinstalll mods, and now I have sound, you have done a great job,and when empires scenario will be released??
The file worked, and I replaced the files.....But i still have the same problem of getting sent back to the main menu![]()

and it is very interesting that elephant artillery is not a fantasy.İt is real. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_gunpowder
As a part of an embassy to India by Timurid leader Shah Rukh (1405-1447), 'Abd al-Razzaq mentioned naphtha-throwers mounted on elephants and a variety of pyrotechnics put on display. Also mungals used elephant artillery.Indian elephants can carry their rider and crew with one small artillery (culverin). But the cost of this weapon was very expensive, and it can not be effective as an normal artillery in sieging castles also hard to shoot so it could not be used a lot. But this type of weapon very effective and pyschlogical effects aganist infantry also cavalry troops. Elephant artillery was also used in Franco-Siamese War in 1893.

I'll take the one for the Renaissance Campaign.
Can't i just make the other file a different name like with a 1?

thank you
ok, I understand, but please hurry up,this mod si great, but Ai turns are long...
ditto
The campaign map is 2x bigger and has 2x more factions, what can you expect.....
Ok,but how long will be turns in empires scenario,5 min???
Thats rather hard to say, because hes using a different terrain, and the further reaches aren't that many settlements as compared to inner asia and europe. I wouldn't think of a big difference, but i could be wrong.
Maximus_54 I could upload the fixed descr_strat file, so you can install it manually. Do you want the one for the Crusades or Renaissance Campaign (they both have the same file name, so uploading both will be confusing).
Alexander of Jordan I have tried reducing the movement but it didn't make that much difference. Neither did reducing the size of the mod, or changing the 'descr_campaign_ai_db.xml' file (affects how the AI makes decisions). Unless I can figure out why the turns take so long I can't shorten them.
I believe the turns are shorter in Empire. I'm not sure why but it may be cause the map is smaller and there is less land.

I think it takes forever because of the close to infinite movement on the campaign map.
