So, I'm probably getting a new HDD in a week or so, and I've been thinking of creating a virtual PC; seeing as I'll have a lot more space(I'm planning on buying a Seagate Barracuda ST3500320AS, with 500GB of storage space, which will be a tremendous addition to my existing Seagate of only 160GB of space).
I'm planning on building something like this, on the 160GB HDD I'll create 2 partitions, C: will be 60 gigs large and will store the OS and the programs, while the rest, D: ~100 gigs, will be used for installed games.
On the other HDD, however, I will store documents, music, movies, downloads etc. Not sure about how I'll divide partitions yet though. Also, on this one, I was thinking about saving some space for other OS's. I would primarily test other OS's, just to see how my system can handle them, and maybe, familiarize myself with Linux for constant use.
So, to my question, what programs are best for creating virtual machines? I only know of VMware and MS's Virtual PC, but never actually worked with them, so any tutorials are welcome.
