ONLY for Carthaginian Reports, all off topic posts will be deleted.

You will have to do this:

Include all errors in your first post organized so that the we could find them without having to search trough the whole tread.

You should also strike off each and every solved error. [S][/*S] like this

Post all pictures in spoilers for faster loading.

Default Re: Carthage - Columcille & Ketchup

Finally got the Beta to work and I've now done a fairly extensive Carthaginian recruitment test in the campaign. Here's the report:

Mercenary/Levy observations (see if it is as it is meant to be)

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Italian Regions

Owned Italian Regions and to the North:
    Insubres Infantry
    Peltasts
    Celtic Heavy Spearmen

Bononia and Erturia (South) and probably the rest of Central Italy:
    Veneti Skirmishers
    Celtic Heavy Spearmen
    Paleoveneti Noble Cavalry

    Entirety of Africa (same everywhere)

    Greek Slingers
    Libyan Skirmishers
    Numdian Javelinemen
    Numidian Spearmen
    Numidian Cavalry
    Hoplites of Cyrene
    mercenary Elite Phalangites

    Owned Spanish Regions
    Balearic Slingers
    Arevaci Spearmen
    Falarica Infantry
    Arevaci Medium Cavalry
    Cantabrian Jinetes

    Rest of Spain (not owned)
    Lusitanian Spearmen
    Lusitanian caetrati
    Lusitanian elite scutarii
    Lusitanian light cavalry

    Errors

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Most Units have no unit cards
Numidian Spearmen have Numidian Javelineman description
African Assualt Infantry have Libyan Skirmisher descriptions
Late Libyan Spearmen have Libyan Skirmisher description
Early Libyan Spearmen have carthage thorakitai descriptions
Carthage Royal Cavalry are refered to as Sacred band of Astarte in the description (consistency?)
    Carthage Elephant Forests (lol)
Scutarii have same description as Elite Scutarii
Celtic Light Swordsman have Armored scowrdsmen description
Celtic Heavy Spearmen have Dacian Light Cavalry description
Iberian Medium Cavalry have Jinetes description
Iberian Scutarii cavalry/iberian light cavalry both have Scythian mounted skirmisher description
Iberian Heavy Cavalry have Jinetes description

Carthaginian barracks are wrongly name: e.g Roman Limes Fort and South Limes Deserta

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    AOR and Recruitment

It all seems to be working perfectly! You can indeed recruit every unit that the browser says you should be able to (I've tested at each level in the Barracks)
The three (are there more - I have only seen Italian, N.African and Spanish) main AORS are all working fine.
You can recruit Iberian units in the Spanish regions (Cantabrian Jinetes, Iberian cavalry, Iberian Scutarii/Caetrati, Lusitainian spearmen etc.)
You can recruit Celtic Infantry in Northern Italy settlements (Celtic light swordsmen, Celtic Heavy Spearmen, celtic Cavalry etc.)
You can recruit African/Libyan infantry in North Africa (African Assault Infantry, Sacred Bands (Astarte and Ba'al), Late and Early Libyan Spearmen, Libyan Skirmishers, Numdiian Spearmen/cavalry/javelinemen etc.)

Other than that it's been great!
Phew...That took ages to type up!

EDIT: With regards to what Columcille said, Iberian settlements do have very low public order (around 60% max at "low" tax), but none have revolted yet (after 3 turns). They're rioting like crazy but I'm in the process of building happiness buildings. Maybe they shouldn't be sooo rebellious...

I've done an exhaustive graphical test of Carthaginian units. I've been through all of their custom battle units (around 50) and here's the report:

P.S Some of these are very minor, but we want RS 2 to be the best possible, right? I wanted to be thorough, so I posted them anyway but don't feel obliged to fix each and every one.

    Graphical Errors

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Cloaks

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Line on face (minor)

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Red line on inner shield

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Cloaks and Horses' rears

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    White cheeks (possibly intended?)

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Cloaks and Horses' rears

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Cloaks and Horses' rears

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Pike butt-spike sticking out of soldiers ass (lol)

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Cloaks

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Standard Bearer sword clipping (Samnite Pedites Extraordinarii)

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Cloaks

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Spear through body

They're all the errors. The units look great overall!

N.B Caledonian Cavarly and Palmyran Cataphracts also have the wierd horse ass...I didn't get any screens

For the sake of consistency: Celtic Cavalry have 240 men in the unit and Iberian Cavalry have 48 men in the unit. Is this intended? (I think not...)

P.S Why the hell does imageshack take so long to upload?!

I'm just starting a campaign as Carthage and will post the results here (updating as I progress):

    Campaign

Rome attacked Genoa on turn 2, after (cleverly) moving most of their forces from safe Southern Italy, to the frontier - Northern Italy. I now have around 4 legions (stacks) amassed in Northern Italy to deal with with my single inferior stack: It's gonna be a struggle to beat them back. BTW, can we make Hannibal a bit better - I've been sieged by Tertius Lepidus who is 21 and has 7 stars already! It is slightly unrealistic to have some arrodant, upstart from Rome be far better than the greatest tactician that ever lived (Hannibal having 4 stars and being 48 years old).

    Additional Errors

The building prices are messed. As an example, in Genoa it costs 1000 to build a Shrine to Ba'al, whereas to build that exact building in other settlements it costs 100. I assume the price in Genoa is the correct price.

    Cheers

Right, I'm getting a CTD as Carthage on the campaign map. There's no error and it occurs straight as I click the end-turn button (i.e immediately). The only message I get is "Rome Total War has stopped working. Windows is searching for a solution" altough that is a generic message and I doubt it will help...

I´m not sure is this the right place to post these, because I found the same error on few other units (other factions).

Ok somethings wrong here. A Roman army sieged and attacked Genoa, and when I clicked on "Start deployment" my game freezes.

What happened? A CTD with no error message or what? You are using the -show_err command line change aren't you?

Did it CTD? Sometimes a CTD that then works if you play the same battle again can be a sprite issue.
