Betrayed by the Senate

Why did i get betrayed by the senate? They blocked on of my ports and I was doing really good! I destroid Hannibals Army, The Carthiginian Silver mercenary army, and the Gauls invading from the north.

Check the Downloadthread...a patch already came out to fix this problem by removing ships from the senate...unfortunately you will have to restart your campaign

if you use the fix you should start over again. if you don' t use it no problem becous the senate will not attack your on land.

Exactly I would have added it if I had beta testers but I didnt, so I released a quick patch to remove that problem.

Hey i managed to make the mod work properly now, but me aswell, got betrayed by one of the senate armies wtf ? And i got v 7.0 and there is no newer version right ?

What do you mean? Did a senatorial legion attack you? Or did a ship block one of your ports?

If a legion attackt you it means you moved one of your own armies in to Latium, senate will attack you if you enter there territory.

If it was a ship you will be able to download a fix in the download section, this will remove there ships. Also you need to start over again with your campaign becous it is not saved game compatible.

Well alright, thats probably why they attacked me . But before you posted that message i started a new campaign, played a few turns, worked fine. THen all of the sudden im at war with the senate and this time i didnt enter their lands or attacked them and they didnt attack me... So, again WTF

Are you sure as sure? SCript, armies, ships, spies, anything?

It is normal to get that message, thy won' t attack you, you will get that message again don' t worry about it and play on.

- Senate may attack if you didn' t install the fix (thy only attack with ships)
- Senate will attack you when you enter there lands and leave an armie in it.

These are tho only two things to make the senate attack you for real.

Well it said i was at war with them but i or they never did something. I think it had something with this huge connection of alliances

maximus just install the patch and replay. Everyone here told you what happened and why. They senate will attack with the ships. The Senate isnt allied with anyone. Also Read the readme, and the information from the download link and you should have READ that the patch fixes that issue.

I am afraid the other nations are right, the United States doesnt READ anymore.
