    What I especially like about this map (compared to the last one) is the fact that there aren't any large streches of indentical land, which makes the world overall seem less artificial. Mirkwood is also much better than before with more trees that are more realistically placed, and the custom models make the world seem much more like that of Middle-Earth. GREAT map!

    Well, when Laketown becomes a Huge City, it'll be about as wide as the lake itself, and I think that would look a bit wierd. Unless we get a bigger map later on, I think we should keep it the way it is.

    Wow, really it's nothing less than amazing. A little question though, will the Rammas Echor be present in the mod and if so how will it be represented? .

    The problem is that to represent it accurately, we'd have to make it impossible to move through a significant area of the map.

    My only beef is that you didn't put Laketown in the Longlake, Venice-style
    Lake city was build on the shores of the long lake after smaug was killed. I believe the mod starts after the Hobbit.

    Yes that's the only thing i did not find perfect about this map !
    I think that i would be nice if Moria sort of blends with the mountain (since it is underground ) and goes from one side to the other like it should ( or am i wrong?:hmmm: )
    I just can't imagine how Moria will look on the battle map...

    Speaking of Moria, would it be possible to change the sky of underground cities in the future to make it look like the battle was happening beneath the earth? It would be a really cool effect if you could implement it. Obviously, you wouldn't have to do that on the campaign map.

    There are two that I know of: Europa Barbarorum II and Paeninsula Italica. Both are in progress.

    I'm impressed! And I've seen quite a few great mods over the years.. But to see the custom cities there on the map, I didn't think that was possible.. Proved me wrong! +++rep
