Crashes after a 10mins

Im playing as the Ghorids and my game crashes so i have to turn off my whole PC off and on again just to get it working again.

This happens between 10-20 turns in. the screen freezes and if i have music playing it sounds as if its a scratched disk etc.

I then have to turn off the PC by the plug or use the reset button on the Tower to get back to desktop!

Help much appreciated.

maybe a faction gets eliminated and is hording, wait for some 15 minutes or so and it will probably work again

I've now come to the conclusion it might be something else rather than BC because it just happened to me on football manager lol.

any ideas??

well that can happen due to 3rd party applicaitons, overheating, too much overcloking, or bad memory modules.
